Silly

So this is an insanly warm fall so far. I know we'll probably have an awful winter with tons of snow and subzero days. But I guess there's nothing we can do about that. But today, October 4th in Omaha it was over 90. Yesterday was in the 80s. Yesterday the air conditioning went out in my building at work. So this morning there were construction guys trying to fix the air conditioning, something I found funny because well tomorrow it's suppose to be 30 degrees cooler and my desk is in the coldest part of the building at the moment, so I wasnt bothered...until...The "fix" turned out to be this massive ac unit (I'm talking as tall as a door and takes up a corner) that blows cool air up and little box fans on the floor at the end of every row. We think the goal was for the box fans to blow the cool air towards the middle of the building. But um the cool air was going up and the fans were on the floor. Anyone see an issue with this? I actually think the whole "fix" ended up making the place hotter and really really noisy by my desk as the massive contraption was at the end of my row. Oh well it better be gone tomorrow because it suppose to be 60.
